At the vast majority of functions these days you will find that people prefer not to hear the DJ cracking corny jokes throughout the evening, and stating the title and artists of every song just played as if they are on a radio station. We will of course read out requests/dedications, birthday shouts etc but on the whole we prefer to let the music do the talking.

You are asked how interactive you would like me to be regarding use of the microphone: You have three options -

1. Not at all

2. A little

3. A lot

The first option means that we will announce your first dance and last song of the night only if you have no other MC.

The second option involves a few more announcements and the odd dedication to Auntie Vera for example!

If you choose the third option we will be a lot more interactive on the microphone with more chat between songs and announce requests and dedications etc.
